ABOUT THIS BOOK

‘A passionate cricket lover has penned his emotions about and experiences of T20 cricket… Well done, Ravi!’—Anil Kumble
In this, his first book, Ravi Ramu reveals how he bought, managed and guided a professional T20 cricket team to championship glory. His success mantra: Cricket is not a team game.
Detailing everything that is commonly associated with the shortest format of the game—nervous owners, ‘precious’ players, aspirants, screaming fans, ‘cheerleaders’ and see-saw matches—Inside Indian T20 takes a behind-the-scenes look at the tension, drama, thrill and, of course, commerce of T20 cricket.
This is the real story of the Karnataka Premier League, which modelled itself on its famous cousin, the Indian Premier League (IPL). Ravi Ramu pulls no punches and gives a fascinating insight into why sports teams and their franchises succeed—or fail. He also serves up highly interesting corporate analogies to explain typical cricketing phenomena.
Filled with action as well as analysis, Inside Indian T20 will be of great interest to not only fans of the game but also those who want to excel in corporate life.
