Bodhisattva Swami Anand Arun

Bodhisattva Swami Anand Arun, founder of Osho Tapoban, began his spiritual journey on 29 March 1969, upon meeting Osho in Patna. This encounter transformed his spiritual path. After receiving initiation from Osho in 1974, he established Nepal’s first Osho center, Asheesh Rajneesh Meditation Center in Kathmandu and, in 1990, the Osho Tapoban International Commune. His leadership has resulted in the establishment of over 150 ashrams and meditation centers and around 900 meditation camps, with 130,000 seekers from over 100 countries initiated into Osho’s Neo-Sannyas. In recognition of his dedication, Osho titled him Acharya and Bodhisattva in 1984 and appointed him Director of the Meditation and Spiritual Growth Center under the Rajneesh Mystery School in 1987. Under his guidance, Osho Tapoban regularly conducts meditation camps and satsang programs in 20+ countries. A prolific speaker, he shares his insights on contemporary and spiritual topics through various media outlets and has authored 12 books in Nepali, Hindi, English, Japanese, Russian and German. The Government of Nepal has honoured him with the Prabal Jan Seva Shripadak, one of the highest civilian awards in Nepal. Annapurna Media Network recognized him as one of the 50 Visionaries of Nepal, and the Lions Club named him among the 100 Nation Makers. Remarkably, at 83, he remains actively engaged in promoting meditation, yoga and Osho’s vision of a conscious humanity.
